Are you a marketer with experience in theatre, agency, or live performance? Can you tell simple and meaningful stories through creative and compelling marketing campaigns? Do you have brilliant copywriting, presentation, and communication skills? Can you work independently, as part of a team, and proactively in a fast-paced and exciting organisation?

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Officer, until the end of August 2025, to join our busy marketing team to support the RSC's increasing commercial theatre activity in London.

Reporting to the Senior London Marketing Officer(s), you will be involved in an exciting programme of marketing activity in London and our forthcoming commercial UK Tour.

Key areas of responsibility

Supporting the Senior London Marketing Officers with creating marketing materials, including emails, print, website, and advertising Implementing, monitoring, and reviewing marketing campaigns.Liaising with marketing agencies on the fulfilment and delivery of marketing materials.Supporting with managing content on the RSC website and London specific show websitesMonitoring and audience and sales targets.Using segmentation models and sources of insight to effectively target audiences.Developing content for activity including images and video. Liaising with box offices and providing regular sales updates. Please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list. Knowledge, skills and experienceGood experience of working in marketing in theatre, agency or live performance. Excellent copywriting, presentational and communication skills with the ability to tell a clear and compelling story for a range of audiences. Experience of using a range of marketing tools, both offline and online, including producing print from copywriting to finished proofs and creating digital content. Good relationship management skills.Experience of briefing and collaborating with graphic design teams and agencies. This is a full-time, fixed-term position based in London (New Oxford Street). You will be working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although some degree of flexibility will be required according to workload. The post offers hybrid and flexible working. The salary for this role is £26,500 per annum. Application process
