Senior Manager of Marketing Initiatives – B2B Financial Publishing / Information Services

Collaborating closely with the Marketing Director, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, responsible for generating demand, nurturing leads, and expanding the current audience to meet subscriber acquisition and renewal revenue goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on demand generation and lead nurturing strategies
  • Background in subscriptions, publishing, or information services marketing
  • Proven experience in leading a small team of marketers
  • Strong collaboration with sales and business development teams
  • Proficient in customer data analytics with the ability to derive actionable insights
  • Solid understanding of SEO strategies and principles
  • Extensive experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Proficient in campaign management systems (e.g., Pardot, Marketo) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Experience in optimizing performance across various channels including paid, website, and email
  • Familiarity with diverse acquisition channels (PPC, social media, direct mail, events)
  • IT proficient; skilled in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, manage, and execute impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms, including email and social media (LinkedIn Ads)
  • Work alongside Product Marketing to refine and enhance marketing programs throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Analyze program and campaign performance with a focus on ROI, revenue, and attribution, utilizing insights to inform future strategies
  • Partner with the Marketing Director to maintain monthly reports tracking new subscribers, renewals, and retention KPIs, providing insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing Manager and Editorial team to identify content that engages and nurtures the target audience
  • Coordinate with the Head of Lifecycle Marketing and Product Marketing Manager to align on business priorities and explore opportunities
  • Work with the Marketing Technology team to develop automated programs that nurture and engage audiences
  • Enhance key campaign landing pages to boost conversion rates
  • Present program outcomes and insights to stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Continuously optimize campaigns and programs to enhance effectiveness, reduce costs, and increase high-intent pipeline
  • Deliver highly optimized marketing assets through regular A/B testing, adhering to design principles, brand guidelines, and effective imagery and copy
  • Act as a senior member of the Lifecycle Marketing team, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior team members
  • Innovate and explore new marketing channels, advocating for fresh approaches.
