Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead our social media function for a leading healthcare charity in central London. As a key member of the digital team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a new social media strategy to meet ambitious brand and fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a new social media strategy for each of the charity brands, working closely with the Head of Digital and other teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Build and maintain genuine and meaningful connections with our social media audiences through understanding and meeting their needs, and adapting tone of voice for each of the charity brands.
  • Manage a Digital Marketing Officer, focusing on content creation, and work alongside the Digital Marketing Manager (Paid Media focus) and Web and Content Manager to ensure seamless delivery of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Campaign management, measuring ROI and post-campaign analysis to inform future strategy and optimize results.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Digital to transform how the charity works as a team to improve digital maturity and deliver excellent work that meets the needs of stakeholders and audience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or Social Media Manager with team management experience, preferably in the charity sector.
  • Experience of managing social media platforms like Sprout and Hootsuite, with a strong understanding of social media marketing principles and best practices.
  • Passion for the opportunity social media gives charities and ability to bring an enthusiastic and pragmatic approach to the role.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking and planning with operational doing, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in a digital project delivery role, managing across the entire project lifecycle with a focus on customer experience.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £45-£50,000 per annum.
  • A 9-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
  • A hybrid working arrangement, with 1 day a week in the office in central London.
