We are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our dynamic Business Development team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Commercial Services Group (CSG) and the specialized Business Development teams within our sector, in addition to the broader marketing and business development team.

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in executing top-notch sales and marketing initiatives to drive the firm's ambitious growth strategy.

Your RoleSales Enablement
  • Supporting the creation and management of sales pipelines to target new clients and identify cross-selling opportunities to existing clients.
  • Collaborating on various business development and client plans and actively participating in team meetings to advance these initiatives.
  • Developing credentials documents, presentations, proposals, and pitches to facilitate acquiring new business.
  • Monitoring sales referrals, meetings, and follow-ups.
  • Contributing to the introduction of new services and solutions to the market.
  • Assisting the Senior Business Development Manager and our central Bids team on formal bid opportunities, including maintaining a library of impactful content for credentials, proposals, and bids through our pitch management system.
  • Maintaining mailing lists within our CRM system.
Communications and Events
  • Supporting marketing communications, such as e-marketing updates, event invitations, social media and website content, and award submissions.
  • Assisting in the legal directory process for CSG service lines, from gathering and submitting referees to creating written submissions.
  • Collaborating with the team on marketing campaign development.
  • Creating and overseeing internal communications materials, including newsletters and intranet articles.
  • Assisting in organizing various events (virtual, in-person, and hybrid), corporate hospitality, and internal events.
  • Managing membership benefits with industry bodies to enhance relationships, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and events.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of thought-leadership campaigns.
  • Producing digital content like videos, podcasts, and other media.
  • Collaborating with the Press Office to leverage PR opportunities.
  • Overseeing budgeting and payments to external suppliers related to activities.
  • Occasional travel to our national offices may be necessary.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Must be a Graduate or equivalent, preferably with BD/marketing experience in a professional services setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Capable of performing well under pressure and driving projects to completion.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with BD/marketing technologies such as CRM systems and email marketing platforms is advantageous.
  • Quick to grasp new information and a keen interest in expanding your knowledge of TLT, the legal sector, and our clients.
