We are looking to recruit a warehouse person to join the Community Equipment Services team currently based at Century Park, Starley Way, Solihull B37 7HF.

This post is for 18.5 hours per week, which can be flexible to meet the needs of the service and the successful candidate.

In this role you will undertake a range of duties including unloading the receipt of goods and new equipment, unpacking and completing relevant acceptance checks on items of equipment within the defined schedule, ensuring all stores processes are followed, equipment is cleaned, decontaminated, inspected, repaired and able to be reissued. You will also support the driver technicians by picking and loading the vans ready for daily deliveries.

For the role you will need to demonstrate:

Previous experience in a similar role, working in a warehouse/logistics environmentGood level of literacy and numeracyAbility to communicate effectively and sensitively with colleagues, prescribers, clients and their carersAbility to organise, prioritise own workload and to use time effectively Ability to lift and carry small loads of up to 15kg.
