With responsibility for our stores this is a critical role in the success of our exciting retail expansion plans across UK and Europe.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

This role exists to strategically lead, manage & drive continuous development across all aspects of the regions retail business with accountability for achieving sales, retail KPI's, our halo impact and profit goals throughout the region. Responsible for the Region's budget & wage cost management, you are both a forward & creative thinker.

You will drive people & team development, commerciality, competitor awareness & advantage, operational & omni channel excellence and have effective communication skills with a desire to exceed goals

You are a cultural "north star" and an inspiring leader connecting with both store teams, leaders and the wider HQ business, with the region you are accountable for and will create a culture that everyone [community & team] wants to be a part of. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring the regions commercial & operational priorities are aligned with company direction All aspects of Store Operations, continuously reviewing best practise and finding efficiencies to enhance profit and operational/commercial solutions & sharing these to improve Gymshark Retail Proposing, testing, monitoring ROI, implementing new initiatives to improve Gymshark Retail Having & maintaining a high level of competitor & market insights, with consideration of application to improve Gymshark Retail & maintain competitive advantage. Inclusive of [but not limited to] brands, product, community & hyper local trade. Proactively seek & analyse data to improve the commercial performance of the region Playing an active role in consulting around retail programmes and workstreams; sharing knowledge & best practise to reduce inefficiency, maximise commercial benefit & eliminating points of frustration Opening NSO's on time, to budget & to commercial success, working with the NSO team to refine opening framework Managing the regions calendar and reacting to hyperlocal activities, trade & commercial opportunities Building & maintaining internal relationships to better the region and act as a "retail consultant" and "region SME" to the business, offering & presenting market insights to wider retail stakeholders Working closely with the "Go to Market" teams [VM, Stores, Merchandising, Sweat & Retail Events], ensuring brand campaigns, NPD, peak trading periods are successfully launched IRL in line with company ambitions with hyperlocal relevancy & sensitivity throughout the region Working closely with the merchandising teams to ensure product ranges are graded appropriately within the region, driving sell through & commercial success Ensuring retail events [in store or OOH] within the region are supported effectively through the regions store teams, driving brand building, halo impact and commercial ROI. Identifying & proposing ideas & initiatives to drive events in region Talent acquisition, direct line management, development, coaching & succession planning & strategic direction of/to the Head of Stores and Store Managers throughout the region Being a coach and mentor to the instore teams & leaders within region & retail support team Keeping self & the retail team up to date on new innovations in the retail space & ways of working Championing DEI and ensuring Gymshark IRL is accessible & appropriate for all WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Retail leadership & operations experience in a fast paced, high volume, high growth and agile environment High awareness of retail landscape; competitors & product and future focused, identifying issues / patterns / trends before they occur Strong commercial acumen with experience of P&L management & budgetary control Experience in New Store Openings across multiple territories Experience with retail labour management Strong project skills, ability to lead, manage & support multiple complex projects simultaneously Proficient & experienced people leader, understanding of ER processes and experience of motivating & communicating to retail team/s Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills used to interacting and influencing effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels Effective facilitator, storyteller and highly effective communicator both in writing & speech Must be able to take and give constructive feedback and willing to challenge and be challenged Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills Ability to travel and work across time zones where required WHAT YOU COULD ALSO HAVE:
