About the Job:

This role is vital within the digital team, reporting to the Head of Digital Advertising in London. It holds significant responsibility to sustain the steady growth of global programmatic revenue and implement a programmatic strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.

This position is ideal for an entrepreneurial individual who is adept at acquiring new business opportunities and supporting international sales teams in enhancing programmatic sales within their respective markets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the business's programmatic products in different markets.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with programmatic buyers, starting from the UK/Europe, and expanding globally through regular meetings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with selected partners on strategic initiatives.
  • Review and enhance all sales material related to programmatic selling in coordination with the marketing team.
  • Enhance awareness and drive demand for the ad inventory offer while positioning the client as an innovative player in the market.
  • Identify and execute new trading opportunities, including PMPs and guaranteed deals across various inventory portfolios.
  • Work closely with the Programmatic & Ad Tech lead to grow revenue and develop custom ad packages for premium programmatic partners.
  • Represent and promote the business at Programmatic events as a brand ambassador.
Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in digital programmatic sales, ideally from a media owner with a strong network of contacts.
  • Additional 2 years of digital sales experience from a publisher or buy-side business.
  • Thorough understanding of the global programmatic marketplace and the business's value proposition to buyers.
  • Extensive experience in sell-side business development and media sales.
  • Established relationships within the digital & programmatic community.
  • Proficient in ad technologies like DSPs, DMPs, and measurement vendors.
  • Consultative selling skills with the ability to address client needs effectively.
  • Up-to-date with industry events, trends, and emerging ad technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Adaptable to an entrepreneurial work environment with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Capable of making data-driven decisions and managing team members effectively.
