Key responsibilities

  • Being an operational indirect tax advisor and planning leader and partnering closely with our commercial stakeholders and operational teams.
  • Effectively articulate economic and compliance impact and opportunities of new indirect tax regulatory and policy changes relevant for WFS
  • Manage and optimize WFS international indirect tax positions and minimize VAT leakage. Ensure we have a full understanding of the international supply chain and its indirect tax implications.
  • Proactively manage and lead excise taxes and VAT risk assessments and propose remediation plans to WFS commercial stakeholders.
  • Very handson person.
  • Effectively communicate and proactively present tax opportunities and risks to tax leadership and commercial stakeholders
  • Manage and lead large international complex indirect tax technical and planning projects
  • Work closely with direct tax team leadership team on strategic international tax/business opportunities and expansion opportunities.
  • Act as day to day trusted indirect tax advisor for the broader international WFS business community
Key requirements

  • Previous experience in a trading environment is a must. Either inhouse or as a thirdparty consultant
  • Over 8 years of relevant professional international indirect tax advisory/planning experience inhouse and/or thirdparty consultant environment. Experienced snrSenior. Manager ready to move to an operational indirect tax director advisory/planning role
