In the role of VAT Compliance Manager, you will be an integral member of the Temenos Tax team, providing specialized guidance and oversight on indirect tax matters for the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a practical mindset, a solutions-driven approach, and exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise the indirect tax compliance requirements for Temenos Group entities globally (excluding the USA).
  • Work in conjunction with Financial Controllers and Shared Service Center to ensure timely submission of indirect tax filings.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with external firms for the preparation of tax returns.
  • Evaluate and enhance internal procedures for managing indirect tax obligations.
  • Support tax audits and refine tax compliance strategies.
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and recommend compliance strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Transfer Pricing manager and other team members.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, consulting, or international corporate environments.
  • Advanced expertise in indirect tax with demonstrable project successes.
  • Familiarity with tax systems across various jurisdictions.
  • Strong proficiency in IT, particularly with Excel.
  • Ability to operate independently while also thriving in a team setting.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
