Position Overview

The Pokémon Company International is seeking an Indirect Tax Lead to enhance our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the management of indirect tax obligations, including sales and use tax, VAT, GST, and HST.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Lead audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Provide strategic tax guidance to support business operations.
  • Manage the daily functions of the Indirect Tax team.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 8-11 years of experience in global indirect tax.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in tax software and excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
