Role purpose:


The primary role is to proactively manage the needs, expectations, and requirements of the National Distribution Centre in all aspects of Warehouse storage, ensuring all opportunities to increase the business revenues are achieved by managing the storage billing system and working with internal and external contacts.


Key responsibilities:

  • Gain a full understanding of the current automated storage billing system
  • Assist in identifying system issues and improvements providing valuable input in any current and future system and process development
  • Continuously review and maintain/update storage contacts (internal and external contacts)
  • Administrate agreed charge rates on the system for existing and new customers
  • Manage the Storage Mailbox, dealing with any queries or ad hoc requests
  • Chase outstanding charges with internal and external contacts
  • Provide and publish system generated bills each month
  • Provide and publish bespoke bills each month
  • Interrogate the system due to any stock issues that arise from the perpetual inventory procedure
  • Produce a variety of weekly /monthly reporting, with the ability to present where required

Skills and experience:

  • Experience in an administration / reporting role
  • Database management experience would be beneficial
  • Solid people and teamwork skills
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • SC Clearance is mandatory for this role
