Insight is supporting a large NHS organisation in the Northwest to appoint an interim Fire Safety Advisor. This will be for an initial - 6 months, but there is a permanent position available if interested.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that Trust sites meet all statutory fire requirements.

A key feature of this role will be to ensure that fire safety systems are in place to meet requirements of legislation and that these are supported by suitable policies and procedures linking into Trust Management arrangements.

The Fire Safety Advisor will complete Fire Risk Assessments, provide training, and provide general support in relation to fire safety.

Supporting the day-to-day management of fire safety throughout the Trust across both inpatient and community sites;
Deputise for the Chief Fire Safety Officer ensuring the Trusts statutory requirements across a large complex organisation are met in line with the application of Health Technical Memorandums (HTM-05 series Firecode), Health Building Notes (HBN series), Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and the Building Regulations, and their practical implications and application in varied healthcare environments;

Extensive knowledge and experience in providing expert advice to managers and staff at all levels of the organisation, including planning comprehensive and structured programmes of fire safety risk assessments, and fire safety drills.

NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent;
Significant in-depth experience gained undertaking complex risk assessments in large and complex multi-site organisation;
Ability to plan and prioritise resources effectively to deliver a high-quality service #J-18808-Ljbffr
