Security Guard

**The Active Group are recruiting for permanent full time Security Officers for an immediate start based in Preston PR26.**

Job Title: Security Guard.

Pay rate: £11.00p per hour weekly paid.

Start Date: Immediate Interviews and inductions will be held on site.

Requirements: A valid SIA badge.

Days/Nights/Hours of work: Monday to Sunday 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights and shift patterns may vary plus overtime available.

A full onsite training schedule and induction procedure will be given.

Requirements for vetting:

- Valid Passport
- Driving Licence - if you hold one
- 2 x Proof of address no less than 3 months old (utility bills, council tax, etc)
- Proof of bank account details, no less than 3 months old (bank statement)
- Proof of National Insurance number
- Copy of an up to date CV
- Valid SIA Licence

Also any relevant qualification certificates (i.e. first aid training etc)
- General Duties will include in house security checks of staff and visitors to site. Monitoring all activity inside and out responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of the site and its business. You will act as our first line of defence, remaining vigilant and diligent at all times in order to protect property and personnel against fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry, and other hazards. A full onsite induction and health & safety procedures.
- Frequent but irregular security patrols, both internal and external including perimeter checks in all weather conditions (24/7).
- The examination of doors, windows, gates and other physical barriers to determine that they are secure.
- The observation of personnel to guard against thefts of company and personal property.
- The reporting of any and all security irregularities.
- Reacting to security incidents.
- Searching of personnel and vehicles.
- Monitoring and reacting to CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection system alarms.
- Front of house duties.
- Escorting of visitors and contractors.

A full uniform will be provided and all security passes issued.
