We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Learning and Development team as a
L&D Consultant within our Leadership & Management Team who will define and advise on technical, professional and management capability levels across Severn Trent, mainly working with our operational teams.
Designing and sourcing a range of cost-effective and appropriate learning interventions, from skills assessment, individual coaching to company-wide management development programmes across the breadth of Leadership and Management development.
You will need to be an effective communicator, with the ability to develop and manage relationships with internal and external resources, bodies and suppliers.
Developing and maintaining credibility, expertise and current knowledge will be an essential part of this role, so you must be comfortable with networking both internally and externally.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a project-based environment, with a passion for development and be involved with the new Academy.
Some of your other key accountabilities will include:
- Engage with internal stakeholders to assess their leadership and management development needs and create customised solutions.
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging, interactive and experiential training workshops, programmes and coaching sessions.
- Use a range of platforms to create digital resources & content.
- Influencing and advising managers at all levels.
- Conduct assessments, surveys and evaluations to measure the effectiveness and impact of development programmes.
- Experience of writing clear communications in a variety of formats to different levels of the organisation.
- Actively partnering departments through their change and provide in the moment Leadership and Management training.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Leadership & Management Development Consultant who can connect with and work alongside our leaders to provide leadership training that they need in the moment.
A strong understanding of operational teams, how leaders manage remotely providing the best service to customers, whilst achieving all performance objectives.
Previous experience in coaching and behavioural development would be beneficial; managing people or similar role within Leadership & Management development would be required.
