As a Technical Training Developer at Jaguar Land Rover, you will play a critical role in designing and developing high-quality training content that meets the needs of our customers and employees. You will work closely with our engineering and training teams to research and source data, develop relevant classroom and practical activities, and pilot training modules that support learner journey objectives and training deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis to evaluate customer technical training needs and determine appropriate training content, objectives, and courseware design methodologies
  • Provide training services that meet the highest technical and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies and processes
  • Design theory and practical activities to simplify and convey complex technologies
  • Develop relevant classroom and practical activities that engage participants and deliver 'back to work' messages
  • Pilot training modules that support learner journey objectives and training deliverables
  • Engage with JLR Engineering and other personnel to research and source data/information as required

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in the development and delivery of virtual training
  • Proficient in storyboarding to pre-visualize the development of eLearning, videos, and animations
  • Clear understanding of High-Voltage systems and safe working practices
  • Competent in MS software packages
  • Knowledgeable in L&D methodologies (competencies, adult learning principles)
  • Resilient and enthusiastic, an individual able to deliver results under pressure
