Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) - Technical Training Specialist

The MTC is on the lookout for a Technical Training Specialist to become a vital part of the MTC Training Team. This position is centered around providing exceptional technical education to participants, enhancing the skills of apprentices, and facilitating their journey towards successful apprenticeship completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitation of engineering topics across multiple proficiency levels
  • Oversight of educational resources and training environments
  • Development of instructional materials and course outlines
  • Assessment of the educational atmosphere
  • Assisting apprentices in achieving their apprenticeship goals

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive knowledge in engineering disciplines
  • Proven experience in essential engineering skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of pedagogical techniques

Required Qualifications

Mandatory:

  • Relevant industry qualifications such as Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree
  • Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSEs in Mathematics and English

Preferred:

  • CAVA or equivalent assessor certifications
  • Recognized Teaching/Training Qualification
  • Internal Quality Assurance certifications
