Midland Group Training Services (MGTS) is a leading provider of workforce development solutions, offering education, training, and assessment services. We are seeking a skilled Technical Trainer and Assessor to join our team in Coventry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training and assessment to learners of all ages in core mechanical skills, with some electrical experience being advantageous. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and presenting training material
- Train and assess learners
- Monitor candidate performance
- Produce reports
- Experience of working to a QA system
We are looking for a qualified engineer who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with experience in machining and a sound understanding of QA systems.
The role offers a competitive starting annual salary of £38,000, dependent on experience, plus 25 days annual holiday, 8 statutory days, pension, and private medical insurance. MGTS is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and all successful applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check.
