Midland Group Training Services (MGTS) is a leading provider of workforce development solutions through education, training, and assessment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Trainer to join our team in Coventry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training and assessment to learners of all ages in core maintenance skills, with a focus on mechanical maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a sound background in mechanical engineering and experience in machining, turning, milling, and fitting.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver training and assessment to learners in mechanical maintenance skills
- Develop and present training material
- Produce reports on learner performance
- Monitor and evaluate learner progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve training objectives
We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 25 days annual holiday, 8 statutory days, pension, and private medical insurance. MGTS is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
Requirements:- Driving licence
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with a proactive and organized approach
- Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check
- Proof of Right to work in the UK
