The RolenReporting to the Services Director, the EPM Consultant will be part of our solutions delivery team and will be involved in all aspects of delivering financial planning solutions from scope to build, implementation and ongoing support.nYour role will be focused on gaining a deep understanding of each client's needs, and working closely with the Services team to deliver exceptional EPM solutions that surpass expectations in terms of functionality and performance.

An ability to collaborate closely both within the team and with clients, to communicate effectively and manage expectations is a key part of this role, alongside the requisite technical skills and ability.

Training and development will be provided to broaden your skillset and product knowledge over time.nThe role is primarily a remote working, home-based role, although some travel for internal and potentially client meetings is anticipated.

ResponsibilitiesnWorking as part of a close-knit team, you will be working on all stages of client solution implementation, including:nAttending pre-implementation project planning meetingsnAssisting with solution design discussionsnCreation and maintenance of solution design documentsnSolution development based on the design documentnReporting on project status and provide relevant management informationnClient trainingnAssisting with the production and maintenance of internal procedure documentsnMaintenance and development of key internal systemsnProviding customer support cover when necessarynAssisting colleagues from other company functions as requirednAttending training to develop relevant knowledge and skillsnReviewing and testing new product releases, making recommendations to existing customers on benefits of upgrading


Required Skills and ExperiencenExceptional communication skills both verbal and writtennUnderstanding of basic accounting principles (part qualified CIMA or equivalent would be an advantage) with hands-on experience of reporting and planning processesnHave previously worked as a project team member and have a good understanding of what is required to successfully manage a projectnMust be adept in use of MS Windows & Office, internet and emailnAdvanced MS Excel capabilities must be demonstrable i.e.

use of advanced functions (V & HLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, INDIRECT, OFFSET, IF, CONCATENATE, TEXT, etc.)nA basic understanding of relational database development using MS Access, SQL Server or Oracle would be an advantage but not essential.

Should however have enough knowledge to be able to write fairly complex select statements, querying data from multiple tablesnAble to communicate effectively with both Finance and IT resourcesnExperience of financial reporting/planning systems specifically would be an advantage
