This leading broker is looking for an experienced commercial insurance account executive to service an already profitable book of business in Glasgow. This exciting opportunity involves overseeing a diverse portfolio with an annual income of around £300,000, covering mid to large size accounts in sectors ranging from engineering to property owners and construction to transportation .
The role:
- Collaborate with a team of highly skilled technical brokers, claims handler s, compliance and risk management experts.
- Manage both new and existing business, handling quotations, renewals, market negotiations and more within the mid/large commercial insurance marketplace.
- Partner with a desirable panel of insurers.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and present tailored insurance programs to clients.
- Nurture and strengthen client relationships.
- Stay updated on and adhere to insurance regulations, laws and guidelines.
The person:
- Proven track record in effectively managing and developing profitable commercial insurance portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage, including property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, cyber, etc.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications or progression towards preferred (full support available).
- Valid driver's license.
- Acturis experience would be beneficial.
- Competitive salary up to £65,000 with the potential for a bonus up to 10% .
