Salary for this role is between £25k - £27k.

Job Purpose:

The Sales Assistant will be a key player in supporting our Hardware sales team. This role involves administrative responsibilities, customer interaction, and streamlining the sales processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material.
  • Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present reports.
  • Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems.
  • Monitor the team’s progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of promotional materials and presentations.
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records.
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally.
  • Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Assistant, Sales Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
  • Working knowledge of customer service software, databases, and tools.
  • Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
