Sales Executive / Trader / Broker – Plastics Recycling

Join a pioneering force in recycling, spearheading the transformation of recovered materials.

Location: Flexibility to work remotely with nationwide client visits and an office presence in Manchester.

Package: Competitive salary £60-65k plus car allowance, comprehensive benefits (Pension Scheme, Private Medical Insurance, Death in service cover), and essential tools (laptop, mobile).

Previous Roles: Varied, including Sales Manager, Recycled Plastics Commercial Manager, Waste Broker, Trading Manager, Buyer, Supply Chain, Procurement, Key Account Management, among others.

Previous Industries: Diverse exposure encompassing Waste Management, Packaging, Food Production, PP, PE, Jazz, Film, Paper, Recycling, Metals, Cardboard, Shredding, Glass, Polymers, Granulation, PVC, Confidential Waste, Procurement.

Role:
We’re seeking a proactive Sales Manager capable of selling recovered material including PP, ABS, PET to re-processors.
This role revolves around developing new business and managing the current clients for the offtake, across the UK and Europe. Negotiating prices and optimizing profitability will be key. You’ll be responsible for selling materials at the best price to surpass targets, while also cultivating new business opportunities and fostering strong client relationships. Collaboration with internal Finance and Transport teams as a plastics trader is integral.

Experience Required:
Demonstrated expertise in Plastics Sales Trading/Procurement or similar roles is essential. Effective communication with stakeholders at various levels, from boardrooms to operational teams, is a must. Your focus will involve nurturing existing client relationships while forging new ones.

Previous Roles: Reflecting a range of responsibilities, including Sales Management, Business Development, Account Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Key Account Handling, among others.

Previous Industries: Broad experience across Waste Management, Packaging, Food Production, PP, PE, Jazz, Film, Paper, Recycling, Metals, Cardboard, Shredding, Glass, Polymers, Granulation, PVC, Confidential Waste, and Procurement.

A full UK driving license is necessary due to the role’s travel requirements.
