We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager - Hotel to join our National Commercial Sales team. This role is perfect for an energetic and self-motivated individual who excels in communication and interpersonal skills, and is passionate about influencing, inspiring, and building long-term customer relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver sales with our strategic accounts in the Hotel sub sector.
- Ensure you deliver to targets in line with the business strategy and core standards and responsibilities.
- Manage existing business to ensure sales and profit targets are met and customer satisfaction levels are met.
- Deliver new business by identifying, researching, and prospecting to ensure sales growth.
- Liaise and communicate with the internal business e.g., sales manufacturing and design teams as well as the business management structure to communicate forecasting, planning and financial information.
- Awareness of competitor activity to gain knowledge in the market.
- Produce a monthly report for the manager so that the manager is effectively communicated with.
- Respond to customers and colleagues efficiently and correctly.
- Keep Salesforce.com (SFDC) up-to-date and completed in line with company policy.
- Ensure all induction, ongoing training and development is completed as directed.
Requirements
- Understands business strategy, the sales & marketing strategy, products and processes, and the wider business environment, and takes informed actions and decisions that are best for the Company.
- Is passionate about the business and strives to deliver excellent results.
- Is proactive in identifying own and others' development needs and creates learning opportunities that enable the improvement of skills and their application at work.
- Manages processes, resources, and workflow to maximise efficient and productive results.
- Represents self and Amtico favourably to colleagues, customers, and business contacts.
- Enables long-term, mutual business success for the client and Amtico through understanding the client’s business, giving advice and providing the solution to their commercial needs.
- Is proactive in identifying sales opportunities and follows them through from needs identification to successful sale and beyond.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent presentation skills, with previous experience in CPD presentations being advantageous.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to navigate complex issues and find suitable solutions for customers.
- Good understanding of the construction sector, including key stakeholders and influencers. Proficient in using digital tools to deliver tailored sales solutions based on specific project needs.
- Results-oriented with a flexible approach to balancing remote work and on-the-road engagements.
