National Account Manager

VANRATH is seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and developing strategic relationships with our key customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute customer account plans to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
- Build and maintain effective business relationships with key customers, including negotiating annual Joint Business Plans (JBP) and Long-Term Agreements (LTA).
- Provide solutions-based sales support to customers, aligned with the company's internal objectives.
- Contribute to forecast planning and reporting on sales, profitability, and account initiatives.
- Manage costs associated with key accounts and optimize business processes to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer orders and new product development.
- 3-5 years of commercial sales experience in the food sector, preferably in FMCG (key or national accounts).
- Experience in preparing customer proposals (JBPs/LTAs) and facilitating customer processes at key/national account level.
- Understanding of forecasting, route to market, and sales training.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
