National Account Manager

VANRATH is seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our client's commercial team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute customer account plans to drive business growth and achieve strategic objectives.
- Develop and negotiate annual Joint Business Plans (JBP) and Long-Term Agreements (LTA) with key customers.
- Provide solutions based on customer needs and internal business objectives.
- Build and maintain effective business relationships at all levels.
- Contribute to forecast planning and report on sales, profitability, and account initiatives.
- Manage costs associated with key accounts and limited edition cycles.
- Provide product guidance, negotiate pricing and delivery requirements with customers.
- Assist with tender opportunities and preparation of tender responses.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth order delivery and customer satisfaction.
- 3-5 years of commercial sales experience in the food sector within FMCG (key or national accounts).
- Experience in preparing customer proposals (JBPs/LTAs) and facilitating customer processes at key/national account level.
- Understanding of forecasting, route to market, and sales training.
- Skills in key account management, business development, and sales.
- Competitive salary range of £55,000 - £62,500.
