POSITION SUMMARY


As the National Account Manager (NAM) for the UK, you will have sole responsibility for driving and achieving annual targets across a portfolio of grocery retail customers. You will be instrumental in developing new business opportunities, supporting the Retail Sales Manager, and working collaboratively with our marketing team to ensure profitable growth. This is a unique opportunity to join a purpose-driven organization and be at the forefront of the plant-based food revolution. You will report into the Retail Sales Manager UK.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Sales Efforts for Select Retail Customers: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key personnel at defined customers to meet company targets and customer business plans.
  • Sales and Profit Delivery: Manage sales and profit within agreed budgets, using a full mix of tactics, including new distribution, additional events, pricing, and profit-mix strategies.
  • Strategic Planning for Growth: Develop plans that align with the UK commercial strategy and drive mutual category growth with customers.
  • Negotiation and Performance Maximization: Leverage negotiation skills to optimize pricing, promotions, and commercial conditions.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed about market conditions, category trends, and competitor activities to adapt strategies effectively.
  • Accurate Forecasting: Provide reliable forecasting for select retail accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Min 2 - 4 years relevant experience as Junior National Account Manager/ National Account Manager
  • Or Relevant Experience within the FMCG industry.
  • Highly meticulous and able to adapt
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High level of numeracy, with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage time and budgets effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
