Main duties of the job
We are looking for dynamic, motivated, clinically strong candidates with experience in Emergency Medicine and with an appetite for innovation for change and service improvement. North Bristol Trust is a large teaching hospital and is at the forefront of academic and nursing excellence. The ED is one of the busiest in the South West. As a Major Trauma Centre (MTC) and a Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) the ED has a 6 bedded resuscitation area with a nursing ratio of 2:1, a majors area with 14 cubicles and a ratio of 1:3, an ambulatory/observation unit and a dedicated minor injuries facility, including a unit for children, which is open 24 hours a day.
