The General Intensive Care Unit at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is expanding its Critical Care services and is looking for dedicated professionals to fill the role of Band 7 Sister/Charge Nurse.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly constructed unit that plays a vital role in the Bristol ECMO service, collaborating with regional partners to provide exceptional care. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality support to a diverse patient population, including those with complex medical needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sister/Charge Nurse, you will:
- Lead the nursing team, serving as a clinical expert and a role model.
- Oversee daily operations of the unit, ensuring effective staffing and resource management.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
- Support the professional development of junior staff through mentorship and guidance.
