Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care team at North Bristol NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in neonatal nursing, with experience in caring for critically ill newborns. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering patient care, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan patient care for critically ill newborns
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and respiratory support
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop care plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to neonatal care
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse qualification (RGN, RMN, or RNC)
  • Experience in neonatal nursing, preferably in an intensive care setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic patient records
