Why we need this role

Organisational Change Partners act as trusted change advisors to the business.You will work alongside business leaders, HR Directors, HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to understand business goals, identify people impacts and drive and manage organisation design and integration programmes. You’ll draw on specialist HR expertise from across the People & Culture function and wider business, including HR Operations, Employee Relations, Reward & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Legal Counsel, etc.

 

The role is responsible for the end-to-end scoping, planning, delivery and project management of complex people change programmes – such as organisation design, restructures, relocations, harmonisation of terms, etc. Each Organisational Change Partner may be responsible for one or more of their own projects, or be working as part of a team, depending on the nature of the programme (e.g. scale, complexity). Organisational Change Partners work across all functions of the business.

What you will do

Work as a change advisor to business leaders, HR Directors and HR Business Partners, providing change expertise and using business insight to inform our approaches.  

  • End to end project management of new and ongoing organisational change and integration programmes and initiatives.  
  • Influence the proposed structure of the team, ensuring compliance with the budget and design principles and parameters.
  • Assess existing structures against future organisational designs and identify people impacts, including Works Council considerations.
  • Management of the Works Council consultations, ensuring queries are resolved and actions completed in line with programme timelines.
  • Working alongside Talent Acquisition as required, design effective approaches to assessment and selection that are relevant to each programme in terms of people impacts, scale, local legislation and timelines for delivery.
  • Work with HR Operations teams in country to effect timeline communication to individuals and wider teams on outcomes of the selection/consultation process.
  • Manage the delivery of specific people change programmes in a way which delivers the best possible experience for our people.
  • Design and introduce new and innovative approaches to programme delivery, helping the organisation to change at increased scale/volume, while remaining compliant with local employment legislation.
  • Build change capability among leaders and line managers across the business, using training, communications and other interventions as needed, to enable the organisation to implement people change at scale and with pace.
  • Review HR and Organisational Change practices to drive updates and continuous improvements to policy, process and toolkits.
  • Improve the employee experience of change through engagement activities.

 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of scoping, planning and managing the delivery of people change projects and programmes, providing expert advice and consultancy on a range of business change activities
  • A great project manager who can work out what needs to be done, organise yourself and others and take accountability for the successful scoping, planning and delivery of projects and programmes.
  • Have good knowledge of employment law and application in a people change context.
  • Experience of Works Council or Trade Union consultations.
  • Able to quickly build strong, credible relationships with business and HR stakeholders and be able to coach stakeholders through our approaches and interventions.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, and able to adapt and adjust when plans change.
  • Commercially savvy and have the ability to quickly understand business drivers and priorities and be able to influence stakeholders in the approach for people change and delivery.
  • Pragmatic approach to problem-solving and willing to support others in periods of peak activity during programmes. 

 

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience of organisation design.
  • Solid IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.  Commitment to identifying and implementing digital and interactive solutions to programme delivery.
  • Ability to use and analyse data to drive and inform decision making on people related change and projects.
  • Experience of working in a flexible, matrix environment.
