About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Arriva UK Bus. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our business objectives and driving organisational change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including disciplinary procedures, grievances, and performance management.
  • Organisational Change: Partner with the Leadership Team and Garage Management to design and implement organisational change projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • HR Operations: Oversee the execution of core HR processes, including attendance management, discipline, grievance handling, and performance management.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of strategic plans to reduce attrition and enhance employee retention, driving key metrics and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Employee Engagement Initiatives: Lead employee engagement initiatives across sites, driving employee participation and feedback.
  • Union Relations: Build and maintain positive relations with unions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
About You

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations, organisational change, and HR operations. You will have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment and be able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
