We are seeking an experienced IT Organisational Change Manager to join a very successful Insurance organisation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and leading change initiatives within IT environments across both US and UK markets. This role will involve developing and implementing change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance to change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Change Management Strategy: Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of new technologies, processes, and systems.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage with key stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure alignment with change initiatives. Facilitate communication between IT teams and business units to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Change Impact Assessment: Conduct impact assessments to identify potential challenges and risks associated with change initiatives. Develop mitigation plans to address identified risks.
  • Training and Support: Design and deliver training programs and materials to support end-users in adapting to new technologies and processes. Provide ongoing support and coaching to teams and individuals as needed.
  • Communication Plans: Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the change process. Utilize various communication channels to reach diverse audiences.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish metrics to measure the success of change initiatives and track progress against goals. Provide regular reports to leadership on the status of change efforts and outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the change management process and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Cultural Awareness: Leverage knowledge of cultural differences and organizational practices between the US and UK to tailor change management approaches effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, APMG) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT change management, with proven experience working within both US and UK organizational change management processes.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with IT systems and digital transformation initiatives. Experience with change management software tools is a plus.
  • Cultural Competence: Experience working in diverse cultural settings and adapting change strategies to different organizational cultures.
