About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Apprentice Development Manager to join our team at St George's Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our People Function, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Deliver Programmes: Develop and implement comprehensive organisational development and culture change strategies that align with our Group's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Lead Cultural Transformation: Foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, and drive cultural change that enhances employee performance and organisational success.
  • Partner with Senior Leaders: Collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders to identify and address organisational development needs, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Provide Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of the Group's approach to leadership development and talent management, ensuring a robust approach to succession planning and talent management for key roles.
  • Oversee Learning and Development: Lead a programme of change to create one integrated team that has a consistent and single Group-wide approach to corporate induction, mandatory and statutory training, and learning management.
  • Manage Equality, Diversity & Inclusion: Manage the performance and direction of the EDI function for the Group, ensuring that strategies are evidenced-based, innovative, and effective in delivering equality and equity throughout our work.
  • Staff Wellbeing: Oversee the development of long-term wellbeing strategies for the Group, with a meaningful programme supporting improvements based on current evidence and best practice.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Management Experience: Proven experience in leadership and management roles, with a track record of delivering organisational development and culture change initiatives.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive organisational development and culture change strategies that align with our Group's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Collaboration and Partnership Working: Experience of working collaboratively with senior leaders and key stakeholders to identify and address organisational development needs, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Learning and Development: Proven experience in leading learning and development initiatives, including the design and delivery of programmes and the management of learning and development budgets.
  • Equality, Diversity & Inclusion: Experience of managing EDI functions and developing strategies that promote equality and equity throughout our work.
  • Staff Wellbeing: Understanding of the importance of staff wellbeing and experience of developing and implementing wellbeing strategies that support improvements based on current evidence and best practice.
