About The Role
Where your work helps shape the healthcare of tomorrow
As part of the Ophthalmology Patient Services Team based in Rochdale, the job holder will provide a high quality administrative service to patients and colleagues across the patient pathway.
From accepting referrals to booking patients into the right appointments at the right time and ensuring all patient data is accurate to reception duties and answering patient queries, this role is varied and you will need to be able to learn fast, but you will be rewarded by quickly becoming part of a great team, helping make our service ever more slick and efficient and to ensure our patient experience is the best it can be.
The service provided may be face to face or via the telephone, with the job holder being courteous and professional at all times. The role demands great attention to detail and the ability to resolve queries at the first opportunity. Striving for excellence and a willingness to continuously improve to deliver the highest standards required to support the Ophthalmology service.
This is a full time role working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm however we would consider applicants who can work at least 22.5 hours per week, preferably working 5 morning shifts at 4.5 hours or 3 full day shifts. To see what its like working for us, please see the video below:
