GP IT systems sit at the heart of primary care technology facilitating and recording millions of interactions with patients every week. GP practices have led the way in the move from paper to digital record-keeping and are now well on the way to offering online transactions, such as appointment bookings and repeat prescriptions, across all practices in England.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supplier Manager to join the Digital Primary Care team.

Working in a critical delivery role covering a number of activities within our live supplier delivery function, the team is responsible for delivering and managing over 80 supplier technology products and solutions for the General Practice and Primary Care estate.

This role is an ideal opportunity for someone with an interest in combining delivery and relationship management expertise in a complex market environment.

We are looking for someone who can apply a broad range of skills and expertise in project, relationship, delivery and contract management, agile methods, and commercial frameworks to effectively manage a portfolio of suppliers across multiple frameworks.

This is a challenging but rewarding environment with plenty of opportunities to grow and build knowledge and skills.

As a Supplier Manager your role will include:

Building lasting relationships with a range of suppliers, effectively managing these relationships, ensuring compliance with frameworks Managing supplier non-compliance issues

Onboarding new suppliers

Managing and working with multidisciplinary teams to achieve delivery targets

Interrogating and analysing data from a range of sources and developing evidence-based solutions/options Managing and resolving commercial complaints raised by key stakeholders both inside the organisation and outside

About you

Some of the key skills and experience we’re looking for:

Extensive experience of effectively managing supplier relationships with a good understanding of relationship management Experience of working within multi-disciplinary, agile delivery teams Experience of working within commercial frameworks Contract management experience

Able to analyse and interpret complex information from a range of sources to support evidence-based decision making

Excellent relationship management skills, able to work and negotiate with key stakeholders

A goal/outcome focus to work with an eye for continuous improvement
