What will the role involve as a On Call Care Support Co-ordinator?

  • Service User Condition Reporting: Report any changes in the Service User’s condition or circumstances.
  • Communication: Liaise regularly with the Registered Manager, Care Managers, Service Users, their advocates/families, and Homecare Support Workers.
  • Rota Management: Inform the Rota Manager/Rota Administrator of any situation affecting the rota, reallocate work runs during carer sickness, and cover essential calls when necessary.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations calmly and professionally, ensuring Head Office is notified promptly.
  • Documentation and Confidentiality: Maintain accurate documentation, update Client Service Orders, ensure Homecare Support Workers complete required records, and uphold confidentiality for all parties.
