Change Team Coordinator

The GMC are looking for a Change Team Co-ordinator who will lead colleagues within a larger team, you’ll help to ensure our Change & Knowledge Management (CKM) function performs at its very best. Your line reports will provide administrative support to project teams, as well as delivering business-as-usual changes for Operational teams within the broader Registration and Revalidation Directorate. You’ll steer the team in the right direction and ensure that work remains on track.

You’ll need to be a positive, confident leader, with a solid experience in team management, knowing how to get the best out of teams. This background has given you the confidence to tackle complexity through careful planning with colleagues.

Summary of the role and main responsibilities:

Required to develop your team through thoughtful management. You’ll grow your colleagues’ soft skills, such as communication, and encourage a culture of collaboration. You’ll deliver a portfolio of systems, projects and change initiatives, allocating work according to team capacity. You will work closely with the Change Team Manager to help to deliver your Directorate’s operational plan and team objectives.

The change team co-ordinator will play a leading role in providing a high-quality management experience for the team, ensuring they are able to maximise the best of their abilities and support them in any key arears required, you will do this by:

Being a positive and confident leader, with a solid experience in team management Knowing how to get the best out of teams/people. Having the experience to confidently tackle complexity through careful planning with colleagues. You’ll enjoy working with these dedicated professionals both in our large, modern office in the centre of Manchester, and at home.

We currently work on a hybrid basis, with a up to two days a week in the office – but our modern offices in bustling Spinningfields will always be ready to welcome you more often, if you wish. The requirement may increase to support a period of induction and where necessary e.g. team meetings. Full time (35 hours Monday to Friday) flexible working options available. We will consider range of flexible working options.
