**Recovery Coordinator** to support service users identified through the Criminal Justice System to reduce substance misuse related harm to each individual and the wider community and to help reduce reoffending.

You’ll have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives. No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

**When**:We’re looking to get the right person into the team ASAP

**Hours**: 37.5 hrs per week

**Salary**: £26,393 - £30,316 pro rata

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:

- Work in partnership with National Probation service and other appropriate agencies
- Deliver DRR/ATR and other relevant interventions in line with National Probation Service (NPS) and court order requirements
- Provide a seamless link between probation, police/court custody suites, prison, and the community
- Promoting carer, service user and community involvement
- Providing advocacy for access to partnership services
- To ensure that record keeping and feedback is completed to a high standard and within time scales; and information governance/sharing policies and procedures are adhered to

**About you**:

- Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and/or experience of working within criminal justice or related field
- Experience of supporting and advising participants with complex and/or multiple barriers to success
- Experience of working within Criminal Justice Partnerships and/or working within a multiagency system/team
- Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users
- Understanding discrimination, stigma, barriers, and the intersecting issues facing people who use our services
- Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others
