Change Team Coordinator

The General Medical Council is seeking a Change Team Coordinator to guide colleagues within a larger team, ensuring that our Change & Knowledge Management (CKM) function operates at peak efficiency. Your direct reports will provide administrative assistance to project teams while managing routine changes for Operational teams within the broader Registration and Revalidation Directorate. You will navigate the team towards success and maintain focus on project timelines.

As a positive and confident leader, you will possess substantial experience in team management, enabling you to extract the best performance from your team members. This expertise will empower you to address complexities through meticulous planning alongside your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster team development through strategic management, enhancing colleagues' soft skills such as communication, and promoting a collaborative culture.
  • Oversee a portfolio of systems, projects, and change initiatives, distributing tasks according to team capacity.
  • Collaborate closely with the Change Team Manager to fulfill your Directorate's operational plan and team objectives.

The Change Team Coordinator will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality management experience for the team, ensuring they can maximize their potential and receive support in key areas by:

  • Exhibiting positive and confident leadership, backed by solid team management experience.
  • Understanding how to optimize team performance.
  • Possessing the capability to effectively navigate complexities through careful planning with colleagues.
  • Enjoying collaboration with dedicated professionals in a modern office environment.

We currently operate on a hybrid work model, with flexibility for in-office attendance as needed. Full-time (35 hours, Monday to Friday) flexible working options are available. We are open to various flexible working arrangements.
