Zelle is hiring for a facility that processes110k bushels of soybeans daily into soybean oil soybean meal andsoy hull pellets. The Maintenance Technician is responsible fordetermining and completing appropriate repairs in an efficientmanner with the least affect upon production.
Duties &Responsibilities:
- Monitorrepair and maintain conveyance hydraulic pneumatic electrical andsoybean processing equipment.
- Perform weldingtorch and plasma cutting in order to complete variousrepairs.
- Complete daily paperwork includingequipment inspection and location parts for otherdepartments.
- Troubleshoot electrical problemsand complete repairs when appropriate.
- Maintain plant sanitation standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- ZHigh School diploma or equivalent.
- At least five (5) years of soybean processing or ethanolplant experience.
- Ability to read andunderstand computer printouts and equipmentspecifications.
- Skilled in using hand toolsand operating a forklift bobcat and endloader.
- Knowledge of the general industry regulations andpractices.
- Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills.
- Strong problem solvingand analytical thinking skills along with the ability to organizeprioritize and handle multiple work assignments.
