Maintenance Director

HireBloc is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Head to oversee the maintenance operations within our food and beverage industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, facilities, and systems are operating efficiently to support seamless F&B operations.

• Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance procedures for F&B equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of maintenance technicians and supervise their work to ensure high standards of quality and safety.
• Equipment Management: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions and breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to our operations.
• Preventive Maintenance: Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and extend the lifespan of our assets.
• Procurement and Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement of spare parts and maintenance materials to ensure that our team has the necessary resources to perform their duties.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards to protect our employees, customers, and the environment.
• Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage the maintenance budget and optimize resource allocation to ensure that our maintenance operations are efficient and effective.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments to support production and service needs, and communicate effectively with our team to ensure that everyone is aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement energy-efficient and sustainable maintenance practices to reduce our environmental footprint and improve our bottom line.
• Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain documentation related to maintenance activities, and train and develop maintenance staff on best practices and safety guidelines.
• Emergency Response: Participate in the design and installation of new equipment and facilities, and resolve maintenance-related issues and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in maintenance to ensure that our team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in maintenance management within the F&B industry.
• Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills to lead a team of maintenance technicians.
• Maintenance Best Practices: Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques to ensure that our team is performing at the highest level.
• Regulatory Standards: Familiarity with regulatory standards and safety protocols to ensure compliance and protect our employees and customers.
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to resolve maintenance-related issues and make informed decisions.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments and communicate with our team.
• Budgeting and Resource Planning: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently, and experience in budgeting and resource planning for maintenance activities.
• Maintenance Management Software: Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools to streamline our maintenance operations.
• Certification: Certification in relevant maintenance or facilities management disciplines to demonstrate expertise and commitment to our industry.
• Sustainability Principles: Understanding of sustainability principles in maintenance operations to reduce our environmental footprint and improve our bottom line.
