About The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Group GNFR Procurement Manager to join our Procurement Team.

As the Group GNFR Procurement Manager , you will manage the purchasing and quality of GNFR products and services to maximize quality and profitability, whilst forming and maintaining strong relationships with current suppliers whilst exploring new opportunities to ensure GNFR is procured at the lowest price for the relevant specification. Shift pattern - Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm

Your key responsibilities will include: Support delivery of all business unit and operations requirements by ensuring availability and quality of all GNFR requirements including packaging, utilities, MHE, waste and services.
Delivery of agreed KPIs for service availability, margin, incremental savings, quality non-conformances.
Continuous review the sourcing strategy to both provide new, innovative and improved products & suppliers within the category scope, to exceed the expectations of our customers, whilst driving cost out of existing products/vendors/supply chains.
Manage the tender process for all GNFR to ensure the lowest prices are be being paid as well as ensuring new contracts are live on time .
Communicate with suppliers and other elements of the supply chain to enable them to deliver effectively.
Supporting the control of stock in conjunction with the packaging manager, liaising with internal and external operations teams to deliver lowest cost supply route to market.
Provide the business with a forward projection of supply to enable effective business planning.
Administer the buying process, GSCOP records, price confirmation, processing of claims. Liaising with Administrators to ensure, weekly and month end processes are completed in a timely accurate manner, to ensure finance reports accurately reflect category position.
Utilize & be experienced with market analysis and insight tools to identify opportunities, analyse performance and validate decisions.

What are we looking for? We are looking for a motivated, self-directed individual with strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others Buying experience in packaging/utilities/GNFR with a demonstrable record of accomplishment of cost saving procurement solutions implemented is also required
A certification on the ethics and legality of product supply and negotiation would be advantageous but not essential Intermediate Excel skills High attention to detail  Ability to build strong relationships across the business
