**About The Role**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a
**Specialist - HR** to join our People Team.

**The hours for this role at 8:30am - 5pm,**
**Monday**
**-**
**Friday**

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- To be an integral member of the Operational Team whilst working closely with the wider IPL People Team to drive consistency across the group and develop improved ways of working
- Support the operational team to manage ER and absence management cases ensuring they are in line with policy and legislation
- Work with the OH provider to support cases and ensure process is followed and all cases are managed end to end
- Provide accurate management information data and advice to the site leadership to deliver improvements on absence and retention
- Manage the recruitment life cycle for entry level operational roles
- Escalate any complex or high risk ER cases to the Senior Manager - People
- Manage the labour agency relationships
- Support the business Critical Success Factors in terms of attracting, retaining and developing the right people
- Identify short, medium and long term resourcing plans to support the leadership team in the recruitment process
- Influence and advise the senior leadership team on key aspects of organisational design change, structures and initiatives to drive efficiencies
- The role will involve managing multiple customers across a variety of shifts with differing capabilities along with a diverse workforce

**What are we looking for?**
- Previous generalist HR experience within a similar FMCG industry
- CIPD L5 qualified - or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Experience of working with, and managing, high volume temporary agency resource
- Experience of working with Trade Unions and TUPE transfer experience
- Ability to influence and challenge decision makers
- Positive role model with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Highly organised and able to work to deadlines
- Experience of managing and/or supporting the recruitment process
- Self-motivated and self-sufficient individual with the ability to work in a HR stand-alone role.
- Experience of Job evaluation processes
