We are looking for experienced Band 5/6 Mental Health Nurses for one of the well-known Mental Health Trusts in Anglia.

Description:

As a Band 5 Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disabilities), you will have at least six months of previous experience working in an inpatient mental health setting as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will have experience carrying out a diverse range of duties, including the assessment, formulation, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of nursing care that is evidence-based, person-centered, and recovery-focused.

Experience:

  • Registered Nurse - Mental Health / Learning Disability
  • Completion of Band 5 preceptorship program (evidence may be required from RNs who have been registered for less than 2 years or with gaps)
  • Ongoing registration with the NMC
  • Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team structure
  • Experience in assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care needs

Skills:

  • Understanding and knowledge of mental health conditions and their treatments, recovery principles, and person-centered care
  • Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Care Programme Approach
  • Understanding of physical health conditions and their impact on patients experiencing mental ill health
