About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in West Norfolk. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and goal-focussed interventions to young people experiencing difficulties with their mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop effective treatment plans in collaboration with young people and their families.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions, including individual and group therapy, to support the mental health and well-being of young people.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychology, occupational health, social work, and mental health nursing, to deliver person-centred treatment packages.
  • Participate in the Duty Clinician rota for urgent response and contribute to the development of innovative and creative solutions to meet the needs of young people.
Requirements
  • Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip OT, Clinical Psychology, or equivalent.
  • Mentorship qualification or ENB 998, with a willingness to train as a Sign-off Mentor.
  • Good to great management course or equivalent (desirable).
