Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in West Norfolk, Kings Lynn. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and goal-focussed interventions to young people experiencing difficulties with their mental health.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct mental health assessments and provide evidence-based interventions to young people and their families.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver person-centred treatment packages.
- Participate in the Duty Clinician rota for urgent response and have a caseload of young people requiring mental health support.
- Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip OT, Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Mentorship qualification or ENB 998. Willingness to train to become Sign-off Mentor.
- Experience in working with children and young people, with a focus on mental health practice.
- Ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge of mental health practice from previous experience.
