TourHero’s founding team is led by co-founders Tushar (CEO), Jann (CPO) and Viren (CCO), and the former 2 previously co-founded/built Voyagin, one of the largest online travel companies in Asia, which was eventually acquired by Rakuten, the world's 5th largest e-commerce site.

Our Head of Growth is a key leadership role responsible for driving user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth for TourHero. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to execute innovative growth initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in driving the company's expansion primarily through offline marketing, events, community activation, and grassroots marketing. You will be responsible for developing and executing creative growth strategies that enhance brand visibility, foster community engagement, and drive user acquisition. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for travel, a proven track record in growth marketing, and the ability to lead a high-performing team.

Reporting directly to the Co-founder and CEO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies, optimizing marketing campaigns, analyzing user data, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute growth highly creative strategies to acquire and retain users, and drive revenue growth
  • Scale user acquisition primarily through grassroots marketing, community driven marketing and referral growth tactics
  • Analyze user data and conduct in-depth market research to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and design, to implement growth initiatives
  • Identify and test new growth tactics
  • Monitor and report on key growth metrics and KPIs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing or a related field, preferably in a high-growth startup
  • Proven track record of driving user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Ability to think strategically about network effects and develop innovative growth strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
