  • You’re a seasoned leader with a passion for nurturing talent, who’s led, inspired, coached, developed and recruited multiple marketing professionals and teams across varying industries including SaaS / Marketplace ,
  • (Desirable) Industry knowledge would be highly advantageous, enabling you to hit the ground running ,
  • You live and breathe data, often eating it for breakfast. You have an innate data first and data led mindset. An advanced user and advocate of marketing analytics and insights, with significant hands-on experience with a wide range of tools such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, Ads and Search Console and SEMRush ,
  • Naturally collaborative in shifting your teams from being traditional marketing teams to becoming growth focused, data led and commercially minded ,
  • You have the ability to understand, visualise, find, connect and create data to effectively report on trends and spot leading / lagging indicators or performance changes - and communicate how efforts are delivering against commercial objectives ,
  • You’re an advanced super user of Hubspot and its marketing automation capabilities, and how to use it to make informed decisions based on great data ,
  • Full stack marketer with senior B2B and B2C SaaS marketing experience, with demonstrable experience influencing and nurturing growth ,
  • Broad digital marketing strategy experience including CRM, social, content, email, video, web and search ,
  • Strong understanding of personas, customer journeys, attribution and conversion tracking ,
  • Experience in agency management (SEO and PR in particular) and familiar with link-building strategies, on-page optimisation and other SEO techniques to maximise our SEO agency relationship ,
  • You’ve previously shifted the needle from measuring performance to guiding performance towards set objectives and desired key results, enabling you and the team to clearly identify what to recommend we focus on ,
  • You’ll have lots of experience in defining, developing, testing and measuring campaigns to maximise ROI. Bringing disruptive A/B and multivariate campaign testing frameworks to raise the bar on not just company growth but also expanding team knowledge and skills ,
  • You’re an excellent communicator and listener, with an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset able to influence and drive change across diverse cross-functional teams ,
  • At the forefront of market trends, new innovations and latest thinking on marketing techniques ,
  • Demonstrated ability to create a compelling narrative that connects with users and is grounded in data and customer insight. You can share recommendations, proposals and decisions internally in a way that everyone can easily digest and understand ,
  • You have a knack of flexing your communication style - being brief, concise yet inspiringly influential with those you work with ,

What the job involves
  • We are looking for a Growth-focused Head of Marketing to accelerate our strong growth and embed StuRents’ position as the leading end-to-end rental solution for tenants and property managers ,
  • Reporting to the directors and being a member of our Management Team, you’ll own, develop, execute and communicate a comprehensive growth marketing strategy, budget and plans to propel the company towards achieving its revenue targets ,
  • You’ll provide role modelling and demonstrate leadership to the team empowering them to take charge of our customer acquisition channels - such as SEO, PR, social, content, events, paid advertising, affiliate marketing and influencer partnerships ,
  • You’ll use your advanced analytical skills to measure and enhance a variety of key metrics including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), Net Revenue Retention (NRR), and Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) ,
  • You’ll recruit, inspire and nurture a team of marketing professionals who excel in crafting exceptional digital and physical content, PR, brand development, design and performance marketing ,
  • You will establish, monitor and report upon team goals, collaborating with the team to experiment with ways of working, as well as recommending and supporting personal development where needed ,
  • There is a need to frequently shift from the “big picture” view to the “hands-on” approach; balancing strategic vision and philosophies with tactical opportunities ,
  • You’ll evaluate our current acquisition and retention strategies, study market trends, and engage with customers to inform your strategy ,
  • You will oversee the relationship and strategy with both our SEO and PR agencies in collaboration with our Marketing Manager and content team ,
  • You will devise and implement city and region-specific strategies, as well as national campaigns ,
  • Enhance our attribution models and optimise the allocation of marketing spend and resources to the most impactful channels ,
  • Leverage marketing automation to streamline, automate and measure all marketing activities and workflows ,
  • You’ll contribute to refining how we convert our prospects into customers. Working closely with Sales, Product and Engineering to identify, test and implement improvements with a focus on pricing and User Experience (UX) ,
  • Collaborate closely with our sales and customer success teams to maintain a shared focus on Return on Investment (ROI) ,
  • You’ll prioritise customer retention, ensuring our customers reach their ‘AHA’ moment quicker and evolve into enthusiastic advocates for our products ,
  • Whilst this is our most senior marketing role, you’ll be actively involved in day to day operations, so embracing the opportunity to engage, get involved and lead by example is essential
