The team

Shoosmiths’ Performance & Talent Development (P&TD) Team enables our people to be their best selves & realise their potential - driving individual, team & organisational performance as a result.

The role

You will report to the Senior Performance & Talent Development Coach - to help evolve, improve & deliver the firm’s People & Culture Strategy; aligning the learning needs of our people with the strategic ambitions & objectives of the firm.

Main responsibilities Design and deliver, virtual and face-to-face programmes in collaboration with subject matter experts from across the firm. Conduct the full learning and development cycle across several career development programmes for legal advisers and business services colleagues starting out in their careers with Shoosmiths. Organise learning materials in collaboration with our digital content team to maximise learning opportunities through blended content. Manage key stakeholder relationships and work on strategic training projects to align learning and development initiatives with the organisational goals. Utilise current and developing technologies and learning techniques to enhance the learning experience. Engage with firmwide initiatives and be an ambassador for our strategic ambitions and values. Skills and qualifications Confident and impactful facilitation and presenting skills, delivering to a wide range of audiences, face-to-face and virtually. Collaborative team worker in a hybrid team working environment. Experience of designing blended learning programmes. Works on own initiative and proactively seeks opportunities to innovate and improve processes. Establish and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues across the firm. Accredited practitioner of psychometric / behavioural assessment tools. (desirable).
