**People and Talent Partner - **Full-time - (We will consider 0.8 FTE - with a pro rata salary)
**Salary circa £45k per annum - **Milton Keynes/Hybrid working.
Are you looking for something very different, in the People/HR/Talent Management that combines your skills. Whether you have an operational or retail background, or if you have been in a People/HR recruitment role before. Thinking differently is what we are looking for.

This role is a true People generalist, but the Talent is in the title for a reason. You will partner with the 3 SME businesses you support with their people and talent needs.
First, let’s not forget the basics of ensuring we have the right processes and get the fundamentals right the first time, resourcing, onboarding, induction and supporting the employee lifecycle.
Working with the teams to create people and development plans. Understand the gaps and enable effective and commercial people plans, which support the business through people, development, and performance practices. You will likely have worked in an operational people/hr delivery role and be comfortable giving people related advice to line managers as they will rely on you to guide them.
This will be a busy role; some days, it will feel like a lot, and others, you feel you are winning at life. But it’s a journey, and you will be part of a wider People team across the Group. You will have a chance to meet, share best practices and ideas, and bring them back into your space.
You might not have all of the boxes ticked, but that’s ok; we want this to be a role that allows you to grow personally and professionally. But we need you to ask the right questions that allow clarity of employment law and people management advice, sometimes challenge where needed, and be that ‘critical friend’.
You understand the need for data-led decisions and feel comfortable interpreting data, completing tasks, spotting a problem before it becomes an issue, supporting challenging conversations and situations, using your initiative and not waiting to be prompted.
This is **not **an administrative role, but like everything in life, administration is part of the day-to-day. So, getting it done right the first time and to the right standard will make a difference to you and all those who work with you.

**Christie Group Central Services (“CGCS”)**
CGCS is the group services support company to Christie Group plc and its subsidiaries. It has the group finance team and each finance team in the wider Christie Group of companies. Approximately 35 CGCS members, including the finance teams reporting to the Group Finance Director and the senior group leadership team, report to the Chief Executive Officer.
**Christie Insurance**
Christie Insurance is a commercial insurance broker that helps protect clients’ businesses, ensuring they have the right commercial insurance for their needs. It is part of the Christie & Co network.
The strategic goal is to grow in the short-medium term through referrals from other businesses within the wider Christie Group and identify external client new business leads. Christie Insurance is regulated under the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority).
**Pinders**
For more than 50 years, Pinders has provided appraisals and valuations across the UK's business and commercial property sector. #
Pinders has an experienced team of regionally based Registered Valuers and Chartered Building Surveyors who provide a range of consultancy work, including feasibility studies, project management, development monitoring and acting as expert witnesses in court proceedings.
The team in Pinders work with a range of household names in UK Financial Services and are respected and recognised for the quality and level of knowledge each team member brings. Pinders is regulated by RICS (The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
**What do we expect from you as you develop?**
- Be the trusted advisor, leading the people agenda for each of the Businesses you support
- Understanding the business objectives and challenges of the businesses
- Providing guidance and advice on people practices such as recruitment, onboarding, people management, business change, succession planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, etc.
- With the businesses, map the employee experience areas of improvement and enable the implementation of the agreed actions
- With the businesses, understand the learning needs and aspirations of their employees and the commercial ROI of learning and development
- Providing coaching, mentoring and feedback to help the business/employees/teams achieve their goals
